Welcome to The Growing Years
The Growing Years Preschool Learning Center of Apex is located within town limits off Highway 55. It’s just around the corner from Apex Baptist Church and Camp MusArt, and only a few minutes’ drive from the Apex Community Center.
The Five-Star Apex location is a full time program serving children ages 6 weeks – 12 years. Your young child’s experience will consist of five (5) full days of engagement each week. That provides your child a chance to learn, play and grow in a fully enriching environment.
If you’re interested in learning more about our Apex preschool program or touring the facility, just give us a call. We provide all prospective families with their own experience, so you’ll get a rate quote suited especially for you. Our preschool curriculum is designed to allow our students to flourish and grow as they continue to develop through their early childhood years.

Kieya Mckinnie
Hi, I’m Kieya, your Center Director at The Growing Years – Apex! I began my journey with TGY in 2015 after earning my Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC Greensboro. During this time, I worked with several age groups before becoming the Director. I have a passion for working with children. Being able to see them learn each and everyday is a rewarding experience. From their moments of defeat to moments of enlightenment, each step is a process. Children are unpredictable and make each day fun with many memorable moments. I cherish coming to Apex every day and can’t wait to continue to serve your families.
