Formerly Hester’s Creative School of Benjamin, The Growing Years Learning Center in Greensboro offers the highest level of quality in Early Childhood Education recognized in NC. Our freshly renovated school is nestled in downtown Greensboro, and convenient to many local areas and neighborhoods, as well as Interstate 40.
For our youngest ones, our infant program offers a loving and secure space, with experienced caregivers who cater to their individual needs. As children progress, they transition smoothly into our toddler and preschool programs, where they engage in age-appropriate activities designed to foster creativity and curiosity.

Meet Our Director
Simone Lee
My name is Simone, and I am truly excited to serve as the Director of The Growing Years Greensboro. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a warm, supportive, and wonderful school community, and I look forward to working closely with all of our families. I began my journey with The Growing Years in 2010. In 2018, I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College, and this fall I will be continuing my education at North Carolina A&T State University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Science and Consumer Studies. Outside of work, I am a proud mother of three amazing children, ages 15, 5, and 3. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and creating custom yard signs for my small business. I am so grateful for the opportunity to lead, support, and grow with The Growing Years Greensboro family, and I look forward to the wonderful year ahead!
